Setting up Your Printer

WARNING!

Your printer weighs approximately 101 lbs (46 kg) without

consumables. Be sure to have help when lifting and moving it.

Attention

Never lift a printer with the fuser oil bottle installed. When lifting and

carrying the printer, use the carrying grips on the bottom sides.

Shipment Contents

„ Printer with a 250-sheet universal media tray

The 110 and 220 V printers ship with an envelope feeder; the 100 V

printers ship with a postcard feeder.

„ Consumables kit (the printer comes with the waste toner bottle

installed)

a 4 initial starter toner cartridges

b OPC belt cartridge

c Fuser oil bottle and syringe

„ Power cord

„ Documentation (see “Documentation Set” on page 10)

Interface cables aren’t included in the shipment. If you need cables,

contact your local vendor or computer store.

Unpacking the Printer

Attention

When lifting and carrying the printer use the carrying grips on the

bottom sides. Never lift a printer with the fuser oil bottle installed.
